Moving Day

On moving day you should be well prepared. Below are some useful tips for your worry-free moving day.

:: Pick Up | Pick up your rental truck the day or evening before your move. Truck Rental employees normally are trained to assist you in getting familiarized with your vehicle. If possible, pick up your truck the day before your move; this will save you time on moving day. Time permitting load the truck the day before as well.

:: Loading/Unloading | As with all heavy lifting, when loading and unloading, be sure to bend your knees and lift with your legs, not your back. Do not try to lift or carry more than you can comfortably handle when you load or unload the truck. Be sure to reinforce the bottom of all boxes with extra tape to prevent them from giving out.
